Isabel was birthed in Melbourne, Australia. The father of Isabel is Australian and her mother Swiss. Her family lived in the Swiss, in Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and Jabiru in Switzerland. Along with her sister Nina She attended schools where First Nations and other children of different cultures were included. Isabel currently lives at Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in the drama field from her days in school. She was a student at the Brisbane University of Technology. Also, she attended the Victorian College of Arts as well as Perdekamp Method Perdekamp. She never auditioned for part until spotted by her agent back in 2002. She auditioned for part in Home and Away 1988. The producers didn't believe she was the right person for the part but were impressed by her performance and offered Tasha a new part. Her first role on television lasted three years and she received the Logie Award in the category of top new talents. Isabel moved from London to Los Angeles in 2008.
